My Landscape Blue

I can only dance with my fingers wielding a pen, play with colors I see in my mind, paint with words haply as a child.

Tiger's Eyes

A tiger’s eyes caught my eyes
A shiver iced my spine

Held my rifle stiff
Held my wits about
Tried not to lose my head

Aimed to shoot
At the heart
Of the black lined feline

What velvet slick
What languid moves
How high the head

A cat wink
I was falling down
My own trap.
